Blog Dia 32: Making better sausage

So all the interior doors have been painted white and adjusted to open and close as quietly as possible. All the kitchens backsplash tiles have been refreshed. And with a bit of new decorations the apartments are as crisp and clean as ever, and now even brighter. The pool has been emptied and refilled and it's systems have all been totally overhauled, with new sunbeds and lighting all around. And, because this is really the only shared space we have, we've installed hydrogel & paper towel dispensers with motion detecting lights at the pool WC area that has also been totally refreshed.

Now the palm trees have all been treated and trimmed . The garden grooming season will be underway... as soon as the rain stops. We've not seen so much rain since we've been here. We need it and we know the sun will be scorching again soon, so we just put up with it and try to put the time to other good use. One good use was giving our prices a good hard look to see what we could do better. Because that's what we do. And here's what we did: First we streamlined the rates from one apartment to another. Second, we made nice easy round weekly rates and aligned them downwards from our current offers. Then, we simplified our seasons by basing them on the sun here and nothing else (e.g. not your school holidays). When we put it all together we found something missing. So we invented the Full-Flex offer: It's like a Pre-Reservation, you pay up front, then you can book any apartment in any season valid up to 3 years with free and unlimited cancel / re-book, but it's 90% refundable for any reason at any time. We keep 10% as an admin fee. Like the Pre-Reservation, it locks in a great price for any season giving you total flexibility in booking and re-booking, but for a little bit more cost, you have a guaranteed no questions asked refund policy. Both the Pre-Reservation and Full-Flex also have the added benefit of avoiding future price increases already baked into booking platforms for 2022. So here are the ingredients. How the sausage is made is really up to you ;-)
