Maintaining a website and multiple internet listings is a lot like garden work believe it or not.
It's a cyclical process that has daily, weekly, monthly and yearly imperatives. All carried out in a continuous way, yet following an order dictated by nature, and the Head Office.
We rake the leaves and trim the gardens continuously to reach a state where we are proud enough to call it done. Then we spend the couple months this state lasts watering what's left. We are hoping it will keep growing of course
But mostly because we are hoping it gets easier with time. Doing it regularly requires less effort, in theory at least. In practice it does make it all more eye pleasing with each cycle.
Weather is a big factor. There is just so much you can do when it's 35 degrees, or pouring rain, or in the days after pouring rain. And just so many salads you can grow under the scorching sun in drought ground without regular breaks for a drink (the salad, and me) , or jump in the pool (just me).
It's no coincidence the maintenance of our internet garden matches exactly the days when it's good to stay inside, a bit. Not too much else that would defeat the whole point of living here.
During the rainy winter days we toil and trim our site, During the hot summer days we do weeding and sow the content with seeds we can only collect between the seasons .
Now, we've been above 30 Celsius for weeks, the land is clear, the gardens are lush, the palms are trimmed and even the irrigation iterations have no irritations, namely leaks.
We also have a bucket load of new media to plant.
And, this year we have added a brand new crop: VIDEOS!
So we are very proud to have reached a state we call Done. And we are pleased to announce our website and internet listings have all been totally updated with this year's best of the crop. All fresh produce. All home grown. All organic. I might even add non fattening ;-)
On our website www.monte-bougainvillea.com you can now take a quick spin video tour of each apartment. You can also view fly over drone footage of the villa, pool and gardens. See the whole property and what Monte-Bougainvillea is all about.
Just go to 'The Villa' tab on our website www.monte-bougaonvillea.com and click on any 'VIDEOS' link.
And if you like what you see, please do as we do in the veggie patch, Share.
You know, like when you have lettuce, there always seems to be either too few to make a salad, or so many that you happily give some away?
We do hope you find them appetizing enough to come for a taste of the real thing.
Sinon, on en fera pas une salade 🤣
Bon appetit!
Making the best of it.
